“Ordinary is not good enough. Normal will not change the world. We are No Ordinary People, created by No Ordinary God, for No Ordinary Purpose. I refuse to live a Beige life, carrying out Business As Usual. Boring. I choose to live an adventure as a daughter of the King of Kings. I invite you to join me! It won’t always be pretty, but it will be genuine, and we will have an impact where we live.”

Gloria, thank you for your refreshing honesty - if the truth were told, every mother has her 'moments'! I always reminded my self (conscious decision at those trying times) of how blessed I was to have these precious children, even when they were naughty and the house chaotic - and I would ponder the fact that TIME FLYS and I wanted to leave them memories of a happy, contented mommy. Here I am, youngest is 13...now I still have my 'moments' but this time they're moments of weeping over the days gone by...oh, just to lift Ben and Gabe and Jared to my lap to linger and listen to their stories...but, alas, they are 23, 21 and 19 (they still sit on my lap and tell me their stories :) , but they don't wear costumes and pretend they're cowboys and Indians anymore!) Take each one of those darlings in your arms today and linger over their beauty and brilliance...BLESS YOU! In His love, Denise

:) Your blog is so refreshing to me. I have 5 children and I homeschool. I usually enjoy it, but it is so easy to feel trapped. I feel like time goes by faster and faster and so does the opportunities to train them. Thank you for your fun, encouraging words! Exactly what I needed this morning! Gloria
