“Ordinary is not good enough. Normal will not change the world. We are No Ordinary People, created by No Ordinary God, for No Ordinary Purpose. I refuse to live a Beige life, carrying out Business As Usual. Boring. I choose to live an adventure as a daughter of the King of Kings. I invite you to join me! It won’t always be pretty, but it will be genuine, and we will have an impact where we live.”

Denise, don't you just LOVE Bible study? I am always so amazed when read my Bible how God gives more insight each time. We can never exhaust its riches. Thanks for this "shot in the arm" to trust God for BIG things. I'm going to go pray now. BTW, If you get a minute, I'd love it if you would check out my teeny blog (I just started it).

Denise,
Thanks for the encouragement! That is so good to remember to keep our expectation in the Lord high and not get into that "wishing on a star" mentality. I see it creep in on me a lot too! Next year I am going to try your recommendation for the Bible in One year in ESV. I love tools like that. This year I'm doing Larry Stockstill's "One Year Devotional." Its a thought of his (really good thoughts!) along with some OT, NT, Ps. and Pr. every day so you get through the Bible in a year. It's great if you haven't tried it, I HIGHLY recommend it. Time goes so fast though that I'm already thinking about what am I going to do when this year ends and no more Larry Stockstill devotional with nice bite-sized portions of the Word all laid out for me? So thanks for the tip! I love a fresh look at the Word too.
Love, Steph
