“Ordinary is not good enough. Normal will not change the world. We are No Ordinary People, created by No Ordinary God, for No Ordinary Purpose. I refuse to live a Beige life, carrying out Business As Usual. Boring. I choose to live an adventure as a daughter of the King of Kings. I invite you to join me! It won’t always be pretty, but it will be genuine, and we will have an impact where we live.”

Thank you Emily for saying how most of us probably feel right now with all the comments we're leaving! :) I keep thinking, "how can I leave a comment that is somehow relevant to today's blog...??" It's been fun, though, to read the heightened level of comments from mutal blog stalkers. :)

That is so funny! I'm a daily coffee drinker and can relate to having one too many cups. Luckily, my oldest is only 5 yrs old so nobody notices but me. :)

I have a sweet coffee story-My husband and our 4 year-old daughter have "coffee" together almost every morning. They snuggle on the couch together-He sips his cup of joe and she chugs her "coffee" that is milk with about a teaspoon of coffee added to it. She calls it her "chocoberry mocha"! On the days when my husband has to be at work early she is pretty sad that she doesn't get to have coffee with her daddy. It's pretty sweet that they get to have their own special time together!

I just want to add that I LOVE the taste of coffee but it does BAD things to my body. I splurge more often than I should and since I'm not a regular coffee drinker it always affects me so much! If my husband calls me in the middle of the day, he can tell within 2 seconds if I've had coffee. He interrupts my speedy and slurred chatter to say, "Babe, you had coffee today huh? PLEEEEASE slow down." :) We laugh about it.

Hey ya'll,
Do any of you have caffeine stories? Like when your kids say, "Mom's on caffeine, don't worry" or "don't worry, it's the caffeine talking!" Or "ok, are you caffeinated or what?!?!" We were fasting recently and my 13 year old said, "chill, momma, you're fasting and drinking coffee so you're really uptight!" I had to take a deep breath and CHILL! HA!

Maybe living in Seattle for 10 years (home of Starbucks, Tullys, Seattle's Best...) had a HUGE coffee influence on us.

I LOVE WEEKENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone want to drink to that? Komodo Dragon at Starbucks is amazing....with half n' half of course...
hugs,

I love the contest! Although, i do feel a bit like a blog stalker since this is my 5th comment in a week! But hey, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do for a Visa gift card (and other fabulous prizes!)! :)

Thought about your book in church on sunday. we are listening to an awesome message series called Marriage By Design that talks about God's purpose for marriage and raising children. You might enjoy it. It really challenged me. (you can check it out at www.athenschurch.com under the "listen" section)

joy!
