Just landed…
It’s good to be home after 3 days of writing and study in Seattle, then a whirlwind weekend of ministry in Tacoma, Washington at Impact Church - we’re home and busy unpacking. Below, Gregory and I are enjoying a pleasant and peaceful ride on a huge commuter ferry to the city of Seattle where we enjoyed spending the day with all of our precious children on our second born’s 22nd birthday. Seattle was experiencing an absolute HEAT WAVE…I’ve actually come home with a slight sunburn. However, it was raining as we headed for home. Wow. What a superb time it was in the Emerald City. More to come - stay tuned!

There are not very many things as beautiful as a sunny day in Seattle! When I lived there I always thought it was like a treasure that God only shared with Seattle-ites every now and then. A couple of sunny days in a row made a week (or more!) of rain worth it.

Denise,
Welcome home! I hope you enjoyed your time with your family-I know it’s always special when all of my siblings and I get together with our parents (since we’re all scattered across the country!). Blessings to you!

Denise: I sent my sister a copy of your book this week and she just called me so grateful for all of the wisdom and truth that you pour out in your book. She was very very encouraged and said she woke up this morning feeling “such purpose” in staying home with her little boy. Be encouraged that God is using your book to encourage yet another mom!
