…is pretty glum at the moment as you can see.  This morning I pulled out my cardboard bread to make some toast, but discovered my kids had grabbed rye bread off the grocer’s shelf instead of my usual super power protein extravagance energy loaf (well, something like that) so whatever could I do?  Almond butter would not taste good on RYE!  ugh.  So I popped over to the local bagel shop to grab some bagels and cream cheese…my guilty pleasure:  chocolate chip bagels! My kids think they’re the bomb – I slather cream cheese over them and drink strong coffee with cream as I munch…:)   It wasn’t my fault, I didn’t buy the rye bread! 

We had some great sun breaks today and I grabbed a power walk with my friend from Seattle before she had to catch a plane and before the rain could start again. It actually POURED yesterday forEVER, but like everyone says, we need it.

All my house guests have gone home now.  After 10 days of company, my house is very quiet.  Especially with Daddy away.  I’m getting lots done this afternoon.  Hope your weekend is super duper!
